Washington requires 60 days' notice to the Attorney General for many health care transactions, including provider organizations of seven or more providers such as home care aides. In-home services agencies file a change of ownership 30 days ahead, Medicare-certified home health and hospice agencies also need certificate of need program approval, and behavioral health agencies need a new license before the new owner provides any service.
