Colorado licenses home care agencies through CDPHE in two classes, skilled and non-medical, moved behavioral health licensing to the Behavioral Health Administration in 2024, and in June 2026 enacted an Applied Behavior Analysis Practice Act that will require ABA practitioners to be licensed by July 1, 2028.
